Camron Highlands Resort Cameron Highlands Malaysia Facilities & Services:
Dining is a highpoint at Cameron Highlands Resort. Here traditional English cuisine meets the many tastes of Asia in a mouth watering symphony of flavours and experiences. Mealtimes are enjoyed in sumptuous surroundings, looking out over the golf course, in the resplendent tearoom or in an open air restaurant that merges seamlessly into the surrounding jungle. Dining at the Cameron Highlands Resort is an enjoyable affair with many options for visitors and guests. It is a place where you can enjoy great food in a cool, refreshing environment, a welcome escape from the heat and pollution of the city. The Dining Room, with vista windows overlooking the golf course and the surrounding hills, offers a casual atmosphere for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Enjoy the freshest ingredients from the nearby farms. A selection of fruits, pastries, cereal, yoghurt, eggs, waffles and pancakes together with the chef's local specialties are available. There are also a selection of appetisers, soups, grilled items with a local twist and local dishes as well as sinful desserts. This venue accommodates up to 60 persons. Jim Thompson Tea Room is a cosy retreat at any time of the day. The elegant setting makes this the perfect spot for the time-honoured tradition of English afternoon tea. Sit back and leisurely savour finger sandwiches, light-as-air pastries and home baked scones as well as fresh Cameron strawberries. For a local twist try our alternative scones with exotic local fruit including Banana, Mango and Strawberry, or Blended Honeycomb and Coffee. Complementing this delicious spread is a wide selection of quality Cameron Highlands teas. At lunchtime the ala carte menu offers daily traditional English and local specialties as well as pastas and salads. Gonbei, a sister location to the exquisite traditional Japanese restaurant located in the glamourous Starhill Gallery in Kuala Lumpur, is open for dinner and serves fresh sashimi, soba, tasty tempura and popular bento sets. The only Japanese restaurant in Cameron Highlands, Gonbei's open dining concept also features a Sake Bar with a range of traditional Japanese rice wines and Japanese whiskeys as well as pre and after dinner drinks. Throughout the day, the Highlands Bar is the perfect venue for a drink, with an extensive selection of whiskey, cocktails and other drinks in a warm and comfortable setting. In the evening, with the music from our resident pianist and the warm ambience of the fireplace, the bar becomes the place of choice for after-dinner drinks, a game of snooker or just to relax and unwind.
